Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Troubleshoot and repair all types of refrigeration systems.

Follow the plan, and layout for the installation/repair, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment. Includes using blueprints and specifications.

Troubleshoot system performance problems including:
- Diagnose of energy control circuits.
- Diagnose failed compressor parts for determining causes of compressor failures.
- Record and interpret temperature and pressure readings taken from an operating system, and to diagnose refrigeration system problems.

Perform component start-up and checkout procedures, including standard gas valves.

Set-up economizer unit.

Test and service single and three phase electrical systems and components.

Install system piping.

Interpret NEC and ANSI style control wiring diagrams.

Properly handle, rig, and place refrigeration equipment, as needed.

Assist and verify work performed by outside contractors, including, but not limited to, coolant recovery, equipment overhaul, equipment check out and equipment start-up.

Qualifications

You have: (required)

2 year technical degree in HVAC or dual trade OR

2 years of HVAC or dual trade Experience
