We are seeking a HVAC Technician (commercial) to join our manufacturing facility in Hollywood, FL!
Ideal Candidate has a minimum of 5 years of industrial HVAC experience.
Job Description
- Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements on support equipment which includes chillers, air compressors, air conditioners, cooling tower, refrigeration systems, etc..
- To follow sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical operation and listening for problems;
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
- Request spare parts as necessary
- Make mechanical adjustments using the correct hand tools.
- Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
