An HVAC Warranty Technician role involves inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment to ensure it is functioning according to manufacturer specifications. The technician works closely with customers, service managers, and manufacturers to coordinate warranty claims, and provides repair and replacement services for defective parts or systems. Excellent customer service skills, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and a strong understanding of warranty policies are essential for success in this role. The technician will document all work performed, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all services are completed in compliance with warranty guidelines. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed, among others. $26-$40/hr depending on skillset and experience.
