HVAC/R Service Manager

We are hiring an experienced Field Service Manager – Commercial HVAC/R & Refrigeration to lead field operations across a designated territory (Northern California, Southern California, or Denver, CO). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving service excellence, revenue growth, and operational performance within a fast-growing national organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, combined with the ability to manage, train, and develop field technicians in a fast-paced service environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, meeting service KPIs, and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients, vendors, and internal teams. This role plays a critical part in expanding territory performance, improving profitability, and supporting long-term business growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily field service operations and technician teams within your territory
• Drive revenue growth, service quality, and operational efficiency
• Build strong, long-term relationships with commercial customers and partners
• Ensure compliance with service agreements, safety standards, and performance KPIs
• Oversee the onboarding of new customers and seamless service integration
• Monitor operational data and performance metrics to guide decision-making
• Support technician development through coaching, training, and accountability
• Coordinate with dispatch, regional leadership, and support teams
• Travel to customer sites to resolve technical issues and ensure service excellence

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R or refrigeration field experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment
• Leadership experience preferred (or strong readiness to step into management)
• Experience working in commercial environments such as supermarkets or retail facilities
• EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
