Upper Valley Medical Center\n\nHVAC/REFRIG TECH/Full Time/ 80 HRS PER PAY PERIOD/ 7AM to 3:30PM/ WEEKENDS \u0026 HOLIDAYS\n\nAn HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and testing of HVAC, Medical Gas, and Refrigeration equipment. Responsible for the upkeep, operation, cleanliness, and safety of all HVAC/Refrigeration/Med Gas equipment associated with the infrastructure of the hospital. Ensures all of The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements are completed. Participates in department and craft meetings and uses correct safety work habits. Must be available and onsite for all emergencies, shut-downs or repairs as requested.\n\n \n\nDemonstrates prompt and courteous services to customers and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization. Executes independent judgment under the implied guidelines of Premier Health\u2019s quality, customer satisfaction, positive work environment and financial stewardship goals.\n\nEducation\n\nMinimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED\n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\nUniversal Refrigerant Certification\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of job related experience\n\nPrior job title or occupational experience: Minimum of five years working in the HVAC trade.\n\nPrior specific functional responsibilities: General construction/ maintenance experience on HVAC, refrigeration, and medical gas systems.\n\nPreferred experience: Hospital maintenance experience preferred\n
