We are looking for a hard-working and skilled Hydraulic & Electrical Assembly Technician
to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of hydraulic and electrical components of our equipment.
To be successful as a Hydro Tech (First Class), you should be detail-oriented, focused, and adept at interpreting blueprints. Ultimately, an exceptional Hydro Tech should be able to safely use hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Hydro Tech Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems
Crimping of hydraulic hoses and plumbing fittings according to hydraulic schematics
Read hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
Test, and calibrate hydraulic systems to meet pressure, flow, and performance specifications.
Ensure proper assembly of hoses, fittings, and lines in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
Terminate high/low voltage wiring into various panels according to wiring schematics
Use computers and other technologies to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment
Reassemble machines and equipment
Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output, and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance
Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing
Accurately record time and job data in various computer systems
Requirements
Hydro Tech Requirements:
The ability to interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and work specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
The ability to maneuver tools including but not limited to grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, furnaces, and hand torches
The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
Able to stand for long periods
Able to climb ladders/truck beds/steps
Able to Crawl, crouch, kneel and stoop
Able to withstand outdoor temps for extended periods
Able to lift 75 lbs.
Able to manipulate controls, nozzles, and other required tools
Able to reach at/above/below shoulder level
Possess far and near visual acuity for accuracy as well as peripheral vision for safety
Able to hear loud noises such as alarms for safety
You may be required to instruct and teach fellow employees and work closely with our Engineering team to accomplish complex machinery builds
Preferred (but not required):
· High school diploma or GED
· Welding Certificate Completion
· Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
