POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer for immediate hire in Sugar Land, Texas.
JOB DUTES:
- Design, analyze, and document new / existing products, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Oversee development and testing of engineering prototypes.
- Document designs through bills of materials, cost analyses, and drawings.
- Redesign internal components for improved quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Develop engineering solutions and participate in cross-functional teams for product launches.
- Coordinate project work internally and externally for on-time and within-budget completion.
- Collaborate with suppliers for quality improvement and issue resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement projects related to product design and quality.
- Communicate directly with customers and sales team to determine scope and product solutions to meet specific needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5+ years in design engineering.
- Experience with hydraulic product design/specification.
- Understanding of hydraulic formulas.
