We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with a location in Fridley, MN and have an opening for a Shop Supervisor for our Hydraulic Service Shop. We are looking for someone with strong leadership experience, repair and shop operation knowledge, as well as, a strong technical aptitude.  

SCHEDULE:

1st Shift, Monday- Friday, 7am- 5pm

THE ESSENTIALS: 

• Provide leadership and direction to the technicians

• Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed.

• Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues

• Schedule shift work

• Call in customer repairs and approvals/ unit updates

• Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair

• Invoice repair orders in a timely manner

• Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization.   

Requirements

• Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
• Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
• Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
• Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills – knowledge of Karmak, a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Honesty and Respect
