Hydraulic Technician

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
  
• Identify hydraulic system failures and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
  
• Repair and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, and related components.
  
• Perform hydraulic system testing and pressure checks.
  
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
  
• Inspect equipment to identify potential hydraulic and mechanical issues.
  
• Use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely and effectively.
  
• Complete repairs and maintenance efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
  
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Hydraulic Technician, Hydraulic Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Diesel Technician, or similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
  
• Experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and fittings.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to use common hand and diagnostic tools.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
  
• Relevant technical training or certifications are an asset.
