What’s in it for you? 

• Exciting Work: As a Swamper, you’ll be at the heart of the action, assisting operators and crew members in a variety of hands-on tasks. From setting up hydrovac equipment to operating heavy machinery, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn! 
• Flexible Hours: Some weeks may be light, with less than 40 hours, while others require 50+ hours – we’re a 24/7 operation. Be ready for action! 
• Travel: Get the chance to travel (25% or less) and see new places while working alongside a fantastic crew. 

Your Day-to-Day: 

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines  
• Assist in the setup and takedown of rigs and equipment  
• Prep construction sites, ensuring they're obstacle-free and hazard-free 
• Perform manual labor tasks like digging, excavating, and site cleanup  
• Follow instructions from supervisors and be ready to jump in wherever needed 
• Load and unload construction materials with safety and precision  
• Ensure the job site is clean and safe every step of the way

Requirements

Requirements: 

• Must be 18 years or older 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, criminal background check, and safety performance verification 
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn emerging technologies 

Preferred Experience: 

• Underground utility, construction, or heavy equipment operation experience 
• Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck, or related industrial experience
