A little about the job Importance: You help make sure our patients are receiving the best care possible through the patient experience from beginning to end. Keeping them safe by following proper infection control protocols, educating them using tools and technology offered and helping the hygienist or dentist chairside. Value: To be able to help our patients maintain or achieve better oral health. To work as a team daily and assist wherever might be needed. Who are we serving: Great people all over Dane County and surrounding areas A little about the team Your site: You will be working with passionate people with multiple levels of experience. This includes clinical and non-clinical staff. Although you are typically assigned to work with a single hygienist, the goal is to communicate and work together as a team with all positions. What is notable about the team – The team you will be part of is part of the community! Locals who live in or around the area. We enjoy hiring people who want to put roots down and hope you want to do the same. A Day in the life On any given day at First Choice Dental, you can expect to encounter the following:

• Caring for a variety of patients with a mix of hygiene appointments
• New patients, various ages, sealants, oral cancer screenings, polishing
• A team, treating every patient like family
• Seeing on average 8-13 patients a day
• Assisting in all areas of the clinical space and throughout the office
• room setup/breakdown, hygiene procedures, sterilization, properly stocking rooms, Etc.
• Contributing to supply and inventory management
• Always looking ahead in the schedule and being prepared
• reviewing patient’s health histories, x-ray history.
• Educating patients via: intra-oral pictures, xrays, models, pamphlets and demonstrations with handheld mirrors.
• Communicating with team members constantly and continuously throughout the day
• A fun paced environment that every day is never the same!
