About the Role

Chapman Hyundai Phoenix is seeking an experienced Hyundai Express Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance and help deliver quality service to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build their automotive careers, with hands-on support from experienced technicians, management guidance, and ongoing training. Automotive repair students and individuals eager to develop their technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, including replacing oil filters and drain plugs


• Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids as needed


• Test, inspect, and replace batteries when necessary


• Rotate, mount, and balance tires according to vehicle specifications


• Complete minor maintenance services, including replacing filters and windshield wiper blades


• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document vehicle conditions and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while following established service procedures

Qualifications

• Previous shop experience and/or automotive schooling required


• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and stand on your feet for long periods


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship


• Efficient work habits and good time management skills


• Reliable attendance, effective communication, and teamwork skills


• Basic computer skills


• Must have a personal set of basic automotive tools


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
