Some Duties and responsibilities are:

• Manage movement of all parts from start to finish in the shop


• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.


• Responsible for posting all shop invoices


• Managing credits and core charges weekly / monthly basis


• Monitor vendor discounts


• Communicate with staff, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.


• Work with vendors to get status update on all ordered parts pending


• Check parts for any defects/damages


• Follow up with vendors on all pending credits for returns


• Develop and maintain productive relationships with all vendors for parts


• Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when obtaining specific parts is problematical


• Oversee the receipt and storage of parts including the process of checking all parts orders and the parts themselves for accuracy and completeness


• Assure that all parts are marked with the RO number and are stored or staged by job, and that the order status is clearly noted on all paperwork


• Manage the dispatch of parts to technicians on a timely basis


• Proactively return all unused parts and assure that credit is properly received and posted to the repair order


• Proactively communicate with techs, and Estimator regarding parts status


• Post all invoices & Credit Memos, as appropriate, in the computer or management system on a timely basis.

Requirements

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent


• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment


• 
  Strong organizational and time management skills


• 
  Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic


• 
  Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and above regularly
