Hyundai Service Technician

Service Technician job duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing requested maintenance and repairs to customer and company owned vehicles, performing multi-point inspections (MPIs), and relaying information about the condition of a vehicle to a service advisor and/or manager. 

• Communicate with the Service Advisor to determine the scope of work desired, while acknowledging waiting customers


• Perform a 27-point vehicle maintenance inspection thoroughly, and advise a service advisor if services are recommended, or if repairs are needed.


• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.


• Perform engine, transmission, steering, coolant, electrical and braking system maintenance and repairs.


• Perform oil changes and lubrication work and check all filters.


• Perform diagnostics to determine what repairs are necessary.

Compensation:

This is a flat-rate position paying between $28-$45/hr depending on qualifications. 

Education and Experience:

• High School or Technical School diploma. 


• Valid driver license and clean driving record. 


• One or more years of previous OEM automotive technician experience preferred but not required.
