I&C Commissioning Lead

As an I&C Commissioning Lead, you will lead the commissioning of instrumentation and controls (I&C) systems within a high-tech semiconductor facility. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee system validation activities to ensure all systems are designed, installed, tested, and operating according to project specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute instrumentation and control commissioning plans compliant with ASHRAE, LEED, and client-specific standards.


• Review IFC drawings, sequences of operation, specifications, and construction documents to ensure testing completeness and design alignment.


• Oversee installation verification and perform on-site inspections to validate system integrity and code compliance.


• Lead and document Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT), and issue Green Tag certifications.


• Participate in Integrated Systems Testing (IST), including load testing, power quality analysis, and sequence validation.


• Use CxAlloy and Procore to track commissioning activities, manage deficiencies, and maintain accurate documentation.


• Prepare and deliver detailed commissioning reports, non-conformance logs (NCLs), and turnover packages to stakeholders.


• Interface with MEP inspectors, contractors, vendors, and facilities teams to ensure smooth project execution.


• Provide training to facility operations staff and support post-occupancy commissioning, LEED documentation, and system optimization.


• Perform any other duties as assigned in alignment with project needs and LotusWorks standards.


• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years in I&C commissioning within semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing environments.


• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, ASHRAE, Title 24, and LEED.


• Proficient with CxAlloy, Procore, and related commissioning platforms.


• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification (required)


• BCxA Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), QCxP, or BCxP (preferred)

Education / Licenses / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Controls Engineering or a related field (preferred). 


• BCxA certification - Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), QCxP or BCxP certification highly regarded & preferred.


• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification is required.
