IBM i Systems Analyst

Safar Staffing is seeking a skilled IBM i Systems Analyst with strong knowledge of IBM iSeries/AS400 applications and enterprise business systems.

The ideal candidate combines technical IBM i knowledge with strong business and systems-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements
  
• Evaluate existing IBM i applications and workflows
  
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  
• Support RPG/RPGLE and CL-based applications
  
• Perform systems analysis, testing, and documentation
  
• Troubleshoot production and application issues
  
• Work with developers, users, project teams, and stakeholders
  
• Recommend improvements to legacy systems and processes
  
• Assist with application modernization and integration projects
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM i / iSeries / AS400 experience
  
• Understanding of RPG IV/RPGLE
  
• CL/CLLE knowledge
  
• DB2 for i and SQL
  
• Business and systems analysis experience
