ICC Plan Reviewer-Commercial Building Plans Examiner

ICC NTA LLC located in Nappanee, IN is a well-established 3rd party building product evaluation and certification service organization.

We are growing and need an experienced Plan Reviewer to work remote from their location or in person, hybrid schedule, in Nappanee, Indiana. ICC Plans examiner certifications preferred, or Individual must be motivated to take the necessary code tests and willing to work to become a seasoned Plan Reviewer.

Job Duties include:

• Plan review and subsequent approval of submitted design packages to applicable design codes and standards.
• Review assigned client Building System/Quality Assurance manuals to ensure compliance to applicable design codes and standards.
• Address inquiries to In-Plant inspectors regarding questions on approved designs.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special assignments as directed by the Director of Modular Services.

• Experience in building construction or modular construction preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction industry preferred.
• Special knowledge in equipment shelters or an individual with a strong background in Commercial Building and Electrical would be helpful.
• Valid drivers license required
