Ice Cream Server

Description

We are looking for professional, polite, and engaging servers who will be responsible for taking orders from and serving ice cream and other foods to customers. Servers will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve ice cream and other menu items.

Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure and have previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Take orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handler Health Card.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service.
• Great multitasking and organization skills.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
