IDD Day Program Staff

Summary

Assist the DD Day Program Manager in organizing, coordinating and providing support to IDD individuals in a group setting with transportation, group activities, work-related skills and activities of daily living.

Essential Job Functions

1. Provide assistance and training to individuals with their work related activities and Independent Living skills


2. Promote activities and work on goals that will increase the individual’s independent living skills in the workplace and in the community


3. Provide transportation as needed


4. 
   Assist DD Day Program Manager with organizing social activities and day support activities in the community


5. Work with individuals in developing appropriate behavior skills in the area of anger management


6. 
   Assist DD Day Program Manager with supporting documentation, such as activity logs, information and referral forms, time sheets and customer packets

Job Requirements

1. At least 18 years of age


2. Have a valid Driver's License


3. Experience in the Developmental Disability field and working in direct care


4. Pass background checks
