Are you a licensed Radiologic Technologist looking to expand your skills in a specialized, fast-paced cardiac environment? Deaconess Illinois is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team.

Whether you are an experienced technologist or a newly licensed Radiology Technologist ready to learn, our experienced Cath Lab team will provide training to help you grow in this specialized area of patient care.

Schedule

• 
  

  Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

  
  


• 
  

  On-Call: Approximately 8–10 scheduled STEMI on-call days/nights per month, including weekends.

  
  


• 
  

  Response Time: Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of a STEMI alert.

  
  

What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Assist with a variety of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular procedures, and device implant procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Scrub in and assist the physician and clinical team during procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform procedure circulation duties to support safe and efficient patient care.

  
  


• 
  

  Complete accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to STEMI alerts and participate in scheduled on-call coverage.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Current ARRT certification and applicable radiology licensure required.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to learn and develop specialized Cath Lab skills.

  
  

New Radiology Technologists are encouraged to apply! Current Radiology Technologists and newly licensed technologists will receive training from the Cardiac Cath Lab team.

Pay: $31.25- $46.88
