Join our Saint Alphonsus team as an Imaging Patient Care Specialist:

The Imaging Patient Care Specialist three (3) will perform as our pre-procedural coordinator as well as supporting the front desk.  duties will include:

• Provides support to those imaging modalities performing procedures by coordinating schedules, ensuring prep and recovery requirements are met and reviewing cases with our nurses, APP’s and Interventional Radiologists. 
• Provides patient reception at our check-in desk within the Medical Imaging department by notifying teams of their patient’s arrival, keeping patients informed of any delays and providing a healing and supportive environment for our patients while in our care.
• Assists trainer with new staff training, auditing, gathering statistics, ordering materials, and scheduling.
• Serves as a mentor and role model for new staff, reflecting a positive attitude towards all company policies.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Two years of relevant experience required.

• One year of experience as a trainer required.

• Experience in registration, data input accuracy reporting of functionality.
