Imaging Services Assistant

Location: St. Johns, FL 

Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Saint Johns Hospital 

Schedule: PRN 

• Guided patients through radiology procedures and provided educational materials to ensure clarity and comfort.

• Managed safe patient transport and strictly verified identities according to clinical protocols.

• Partnered with technologists to prepare exam rooms, position patients, and manage medical charts.

• Enforced strict radiation safety guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure for patients and staff.

• Handled post-procedure workflows, including patient discharge, room sterilization, and inventory restocking.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
