Job Description - IMM - Manufacturinge Engineer IV

JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES:

Responsible for Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600 final assembly line technical support, test system development and new technology implementation. Support new developments and modifications including supplying technical information about system installations and test procedures for Electrical, Avionics, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, Fuel, Propulsion, Flight Control, Interior and Oxygen Systems. Resolve complex aircraft engineering issues by collecting and analyzing information from the production process; reviewing drawings, schematics, and diagrams; evaluating installations, components, materials and suppliers; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; analyzing root causes; resolving design integration issues; addressing actions solving line constraints; and developing specification and safety standard. Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, and System Engineering Teams to coordinate and balance Manufacturing Engineer Team activities internally. Develop and streamline manufacturing processes by designing and modifying manufacturing tools, equipment, and practices using Lean Manufacturing techniques. Ensure compliance with applicable industry specifications and regulations. Provide training to production technicians on Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600 system tests. Mentor junior manufacturing engineers on new developments in test equipment, test procedures and process automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Software Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered, aviation engineering, or related aviation occupation. Experience must include: Aircraft Electrical, Avionics, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, Fuel, Propulsion, Flight Control, Interior and Oxygen Systems Development for Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600. Test procedure development. Automated system integration testing. Catia V5. Configuration Control Board. SAP. MES Delmia Velocity. Flyembraer (TechPubs). Design for Testability (DFT). Digital Thread for Testing. DOORS. LabVIEW programming. Python programming. VBA programming. Testing Equipment Design. Aerospace Harness Design. Data bus (A429, HSDB, AFDX, RS485 and RS232). AIM Interface Modules. Data acquisition (Digital Input, Analog Input and Relay). National Instruments Products. Internet of Things (IOT). Industrial Network. Web application. Agile Development and Scrum. Analysis of financial viability of projects. Lean Manufacturing Tools.
