IMMEDIATE HIRE! Experienced Daytime Caregiver

Are you the kind of caregiver who notices when someone needs a little extra support before they have to ask?

We are currently hiring dependable daytime Care Professionals to support older adults in Columbia who want to remain safe, independent, and engaged in the lives they love.

These are relationship-centered assignments where trust, patience, and attentiveness matter just as much as caregiving skills. Our clients are looking for caregivers who can create a calm presence in the home, support daily routines, encourage independence, and provide meaningful companionship while helping maintain safety and quality of life.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts


• Morning and afternoon availability is a MUST


• Ideally open from 8am - 6pm


• Ongoing weekday daytime assignments


• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Responsibilities WILL include:

• Companionship and social engagement


• Transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities


• Meal preparation and hydration support


• Light housekeeping and laundry


• Mobility assistance and fall prevention


• Shower and dressing assistance and toileting support


• Medication reminders


• Helping clients stay active, involved, and connected to their routines

Some of the clients we support are recovering from falls, managing memory changes, navigating cancer treatment, or experiencing vision challenges. The common thread is that they benefit from caregivers who are patient, observant, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping them remain independent at home.

The ideal caregiver is:

• Reliable and dependable


• Comfortable driving clients to appointments and errands


• Attentive to safety and fall prevention


• Patient with memory loss, confusion, or cognitive changes


• Comfortable providing personal care assistance


• Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do


• Comfortable around pets (dogs and cats)
