Abernathy Home Care is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Homemakers to serve clients in Concord and the surrounding communities, including Acton, Carlisle, Lincoln, Bedford, Lexington, Maynard, Stow, Littleton, and Harvard.

Home Health Aide (HHA) & Personal Care Aide (PCA) Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene


• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed


• Medication reminders


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions


• Help clients remain safe and independent in their homes

Homemaker Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping and laundry


• Meal planning and preparation


• Grocery shopping and errands


• Changing bed linens


• Organizing and maintaining a clean home


• Friendly companionship and conversation

Qualifications

• HHA or PCA certification required for HHA/PCA positions


• Homemaker applicants do not require certification


• Reliable transportation required


• Compassionate, dependable, and professional


• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
