Implementation Manager - West Coast

Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for identifying and implementing high-value initiatives for clients by coordinating and executing mutually agreed-upon savings projects through the West Coast Purchasing Coalition (WCPC)—a collaborative of health systems that have aggregated their purchasing volume to drive significant cost reductions.

This role encompasses strategic account oversight and service-oriented partnership. You will deliver actionable data analysis and consultative guidance to uncover cost-saving opportunities, collaborating closely with clients’ internal teams to implement initiatives with a strong emphasis on contract execution and end-to-end project delivery.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and suppliers for the implementation of contracting awards.

• Communicate opportunities to clients for increasing contract utilization and other programmatic values.

• Ensure alignment with the client’s and Vizient’s goals and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet shared transition timelines.

• Identify and develop opportunities for process improvement to optimize business results and contract penetration.

• Build strong client relationships and deliver business intelligence to support strategic planning and implementation.

• Maintain an understanding of Vizient’s solutions framework to align with client needs.

• Participate in meetings and support product selection, value analysis, and implementation-related discussions.

• Provide regular updates to clients and the WCPC operations committee on project pipeline, progress, barriers, and captured savings.

• Partner with account management to align objectives with client supply chain goals and track performance against them.

• Deliver performance updates to management and C-suite-level clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree desired.

• 5 or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., supply chain roles with a strong healthcare background).

• West Coast residency preferred, with the ability to operate effectively within the Pacific Time Zone.

• Experience in contracting and contract negotiations preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex programs and deadlines.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills, with sharp attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and lead cross-functional initiatives with sound business acumen.

• Willingness to travel.
