In Home Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable In Home Assistant to provide personalized care and support to clients in Chelsea, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Provide support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when required.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.


• Ensure client confidentiality and respect for their privacy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset, but NOT required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with clients.


• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.


• Reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes in Chelsea, MI is a plus.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the client IS A MUST.
