In Home Caregiver

Village Caregiving's Pittsburgh Office is seeking Home Health Aides and In-Home Caregivers to join our team in the Wexford, Allison Park, and Franklin Park PA areas. We offer immediate work, flexible schedules and competitive pay ranging from $14-$16 based on experience. Part-time hours available with the ability to build up to full-time if desired.

$14 to $16 per hour 

Description of the role:

• The In Home Caregiver at Village Caregiving - Pittsburgh is responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes.


• They will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients.


• They may also perform light housekeeping tasks and provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by following proper infection control protocols and safety measures.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dusting, and organizing.


• Document client progress and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred.


• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.


• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.


• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
