Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional care to clients in Blount County. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Caregivers will work closely with clients and their families to support independence and enhance quality of life through personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.


• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
