In House Videographer/Photographer

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a talented and versatile Videographer/Photographer to join our team. As our in-house content creator, you'll be responsible for capturing all of our digital online workout videos, marketing materials, brand content and more. You'll work closely with our Senior Producer and Creative Lead to bring our brand vision to life through high-quality photography and videography that resonates with our community. We're looking for a collaborative team player who brings fresh ideas and creative solutions to continuously elevate our visual storytelling and find innovative ways to improve our content creation processes.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Video Production & Photography

• Plan, Setup and Shoot high-quality photography and video content that aligns with brand aesthetics and standards
• Collaborate with our Senior Producer and product team to create workout videos for our barre3 online platform
• Execute diverse content types including still life product photography, on-model shoots, short-form video for social platforms and long-form videos for barre3 online and instructor training.
• Work closely with the creative team to create video and photo assets to support our marketing campaigns.
• Shoot assets for our retail site, including product and model photography
• Ensure all lighting, composition, and styling meet professional and brand standards
• Work comfortably with both studio lighting setups and natural light conditions

Technical Production

• Manage sound and audio recording during video shoots
• Incorporate licensed music and audio as directed by the Sr. Producer
• Set up and operate professional lighting equipment
• Handle all aspects of on-set production workflow
• Maintain and organize production equipment

Post-Production & Asset Management

• Complete all post-production work including video editing and photo retouching
• Manage and organize all photography and video content with meticulous attention to detail for social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns
• Coordinate with Creative Lead to develop content for social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns
• Maintain quality control across all imagery and video assets
• Handle shoot logistics including set-up, equipment management, and organization of raw footage

Brand & Collaboration

• Uphold brand standards in all visual content creation
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Support the creative team in capturing all marketing and creative needs
• Ensure brand alignment and visual storytelling consistency across all platforms

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of professional video/photography experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing both video production and photography work
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software:
• Photo editing: Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Bridge
• Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience with professional lighting equipment
• On-set production experience with understanding of video production workflows
• Advanced retouching and video editing skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities
• Excellent visual storytelling skills with ability to maintain brand consistency
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in both independent and collaborative settings
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in video and photo production for fitness and lifestyle brands

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brand photography/videography
• Knowledge of social media content requirements and best practices
• Experience with e-commerce product photography
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital asset organization
• Understanding of current video trends and social media platforms
• Experience with Airtable or Similar workflow management tools
