Program and Roles Summary: Under the supervision of the Health/Disability Coordination, provides instructional support services to the classroom teachers with a special focus on at-risk children; modifies and adapts classroom work as necessary to meet the individual student’s needs.

Mental/Physical Demands: Ability to conceptualize and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. Environmental Conditions: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Duties are performed in a typical office environment. No unusual or adverse working conditions exist.
