Job Summary

The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all revenue transactions within the resort. This role involves auditing daily revenues, verifying financial reports, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The Income Auditor plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets and supporting the financial health of the organization, and reports to the Assistant Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit all daily revenue reports from Front Office, Food & Beverage, Spa, Gift Shop, and other revenue-generating departments.


• Verify and reconcile cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.


• Ensure all revenues are properly recorded in the Property Management System (PMS) and accounting systems.


• Review Night Audit reports and investigate any discrepancies.


• Prepare and distribute daily revenue summaries to management


• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.


• Conduct spot checks and audits of cashier floats and operational outlets.


• Reconcile POS systems with PMS and general ledger postings.


• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to revenue accounts.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.


• Liaise with department heads to resolve discrepancies and improve revenue processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within the hospitality industry.


• Experience working with hotel PMS  and POS systems.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
