Incoming Production Clerk - Excellent Benefits Package

Job Summary: The Incoming Production Preparation Associate is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient handling of materials and supplies necessary for production processes. This role involves organizing, inspecting, and preparing incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders or specifications.
2. Organize and appropriately label materials for easy identification and retrieval.
3. Prepare materials for production by sorting, categorizing, and staging items according to production schedules or instructions.
4. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock movements and discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming materials.
6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in handling and storing materials.
7. Communicate effectively with production teams to provide timely and accurate updates on material availability and status.
8. Assist in implementing process improvements to streamline incoming material handling procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to accurately manage inventory records.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to material handling.
