  • Our top earners have the potential to make $90,000 per year. Earnings vary based on your availability.

Since 1996 EMT has provided compassionate, safe, and timely transport. Our team is dedicated to transporting any passenger no matter what disabilities or challenges they may face. We take extraordinary pride in transporting our passengers to their desired destination. 

Who We Serve: EMT serves organizations in the St. Louis, Missouri metro and surrounding areas, including neighboring areas in Illinois, as well as Cumberland, Maryland. These organizations include school districts, hospitals, doctor's offices, and more. We also transport individuals and families to and from appointments or simply when they need a ride. 

The Independent Contractor will play a critical role in ensuring all our passengers receive safe, dependable, and courteous transportation. This is more than just a driving role, this position requires professionalism, warmth, and a commitment to excellent service—values that define EMT's missions, visions, and values.

 

Requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe and reliable transportation services to passengers.

- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.

- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to ensure a smooth experience.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Manage your own schedule to maximize earning potential.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the go.

- Familiarity with navigation tools and apps.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must own a 4-door family sedan, SUV, or Van
  • Vehicle used must pass a company and vendor required inspection
  • Must possess a valid Missouri Class E or above license
  • No driver license suspension/revocation for moving violations within the last 3 years
  • No more than 2 moving traffic violations within the last 3 years
  • No felonies on criminal record within the last 7 years
  • Ability to understand and enforce DOT rules and regulations
  • Must be available between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. These our busiest times.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must successfully pass a DOT physical, drug test, and FBI criminal background check
