Job Description - Independent Contractor - Customer Service Representative

Vocalink Connections partners with well -known client brands to provide exceptional customer service support through independent contractors. We believe in creating opportunities for motivated individuals to work from home, earn income, and build professional skills while maintaining work/life balance.

We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer -focused Independent Contractors to provide inbound customer support services for our partner client accounts.  Contractors will assist customers via phone, chat, and/or email depending on the client program selected.

This is a contract -based role - not an employee position. Contractors maintain control of their schedule, tax responsibility, and business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high -quality customer service during customer interaction.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, chat, or email.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic customer concerns
  • Follow brand and compliance guidelines for assigned client program.
  • Main a quiet, distraction -free workspace during service hours.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer and typing skills      
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when assisting customers
  • A quiet home workspace free from noise or interruptions
Technical Requirements:
  • Reliable computer or laptop (Chromebooks not supported)
  • High -speed internet connection (wired recommended)
  • Headset
  • Ability to pass client background check (if required by program)
  • Windows 11
