Repair Technician- Contractor for Fitness Equipment and similar product

Job Type: Contract 

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused independent contractor to perform onsite setup, installation, and support of specialized medical equipment in patients’ homes and other field locations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and set up devices, tablets, hubs, and related equipment
• Connect equipment to Wi‑Fi, apps, and Bluetooth, and confirm functionality
• Explain equipment use in a clear, patient‑friendly manner
• Maintain a clean, professional presence in customer environments
• Complete service documentation accurately

If you can meet these expectations, we want you as our next contractor!

• Possess the skills to read and comprehend manufacturer's manuals and instructions used in repairing equipment
• Must have your own transportation to and from site of repair
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov 
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills
• Must comply with HIPAA regulations
