Job Description - Independent Sales Coordinator

Job Overview: 





Independent Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing independent bookings and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, ensuring they are well supported and have the resources they need. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist with general office duties, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and providing internal support across multiple companies. 






Key Responsibilities: 





  • Independent Sales & Vendor Relations: 







    • Oversee all independent bookings, ensuring a seamless experience for guests booking outside of cruise line channels. 









    • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring they are informed, satisfied, and have the necessary materials to provide services. 







  • Allotment Assistance: 







    • Aid in the management of allotments within the proprietary BaseCamp database, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate. 









    • Assist in sending allotments to cruise lines 







  • Other Duties as Assigned: 







    • Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to contribute to the overall success of the cruise program and the company. 









    • Assist in handling all phone calls within the company, including IWLS, Chilkat Guides, Skagway Excursion, HSFF, and Alaska Mountain Guides. 









    • Provide general office support such as responding to emails, data entry, and assisting the administrative team with daily operations. 









    • Help ensure smooth communication across various departments to support day-to-day activities. 







 




Requirements: 







    • Strong background in sales, customer service, or operations, preferably within the travel or cruise industry. 









    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. 











    • Proficiency in BaseCamp or similar project management tools. 









    • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. 









    • Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
