Position Title:              Tour Logistics Manager

Reports to:                   Tour Sales and Services Manager

Role Summary:


The Tour Logistics Manager is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the company’s tours run smoothly from departure to return and is responsible for the management of tour inventory and independent direct bookings in FareHarbor for both Taquan Air’s and Kawanti Adventures’ tour programs. This job requires an individual who is prompt, organized, can multi-task, has high energy, enjoys working with the public, and has excellent customer service skills. The Tour Logistics Manager works closely with site managers, the dock operations team, and dock-sales staff to maintain alignment with company goals and values.



Key Outcomes:



  • Motivate, lead, and develop a high‑performance team by promoting the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values to staff, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary contact for tour participants, addressing concerns and ensuring high customer satisfaction by anticipating guest needs.

  • Implement emergency response plans for medical issues or other tour disruptions.

  • Supervise and coordinate tour staff including guides, drivers, and support personnel, providing guidance to maintain alignment and tour success.

  • Manage FareHarbor tour inventory, bookings, and customer care with support from the Tour Coordinator and Retail Manager.

  • Report tour, bus, or schedule‑impacting changes to the operations team, delegating to Taquan Air personnel when appropriate.

  • Coordinate daily inventory with dock sales staff for pre‑arrival sales.

  • Communicate all Taquan Air tour confirmations and updated maximums to Shorex 24 hours before arrival.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote tours and maximize attendance.

  • Manage digital waivers (Werewolf & Polaris) for ARS tours.

  • Assist with customer inquiries via Swell and other company email channels.

  • Uphold company standards for safety, security, confidentiality, and promote the Safety Management System across all levels.

  • Handle unexpected challenges and resolve issues efficiently to ensure a smooth tour experience.

  • Ability to answer the phones early mornings, evenings, or weekend days, when workloads require to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:



  • Effectively interact and communicate with peers, managers, and other Department employees.

  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across work segments and departments with diverse personalities and requirements.

  • Reliable and timely attendance, flexibility to work early mornings and evenings, or weekend days, when workloads require. 

  • Recognize opportunities to contribute and collaborate with other areas and departments when individual workloads are light.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and systems such as FareHarbor and Swell.

  • Conduct oneself with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.



Physical Demands and Requirements:



  • Mobility across the site.

  • Ability to handle stress and pressure created by simultaneous demands.

  • Ability to work on-site, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to noise, heat and cold.

  • Ability to frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

  • Ability to work with members of the public, requiring appropriate appearance and attire.

Experience/Education Requirements:



  • No felony convictions or criminal convictions that would interfere with job responsibilities.
