Overview:
The Indiana PrEP Navigator (IPN) is responsible for working with the community, Matthew 25 medical and prevention staff to focus on increasing PrEP awareness and availability for the community, especially those at high risk for HIV. The IPN will assist the Prevention and Education Team in accomplishing this goal by using a variety of outreach strategies such as motivational interviewing, and being involved in community level prevention activities including condom distribution, non-syringe harm reduction supply support, syringe service programs and social marketing campaigns. IPN will provide intensive care coordination, support and services to HIV negative individuals who require assistance in accessing and remaining in PrEP care.
