Summary
Responsible for receiving indirect loan contracts from approved dealerships via mail or through our Lending Origination System (LOS), verify all information in loan package is accurate and complete according to loan approval/counteroffer by approving underwriter/system, and disbursement of funds. This is a high tempo operation with an emphasis on detail and organizational skills.
Essential Functions
1. Review all documentation from approved indirect dealerships to confirm necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
2. Calculate income based on internal guidelines and policy.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with SCCU Business Development Managers (BDM) and dealership staff.
4. Communicate with SCCU Business Development Managers (BDM) and dealership staff regarding missing information, quote loan payoffs, and fund delays.
5. Ensures packages are complete and correct before submitting for auditing.
6. Answer lending questions from members, staff, and dealership partners.
7. Approximate working time is spent as follows:
a. 50% Organize incoming loan packages from dealerships (paper and electronically) to prepare for funding and auditing.
b. 20% Communications (phone, email, LOS) with dealerships, SCCU BDM’s, staff on fund delays, status updates, etc.
c. 15% Prepare files for auditing and scanning.
d. 15% Auditing funded files.
8. Review and audit loan files and membership applications for accuracy and completeness.
9. Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal security/information security practices.
10. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support to risk management and overall safety and soundness.
11. Must, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities
1. Good communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent telephone etiquette.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel, and calculators.
3. Must possess good organizational skills with the ability to file accurately and quickly.
4. Ability to work well under pressure with multiple projects and deadlines.
5. Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to a flexible schedule.
Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of six months of experience in a clerical field, in a financial institution preferred.
3. Knowledge of SCCU products and services.

Salary: $22.78 to $24.71 per hour DOE
