Job Title: Indoor Operations Coordinator
Department: Ski School

Status: Seasonal FT

Reporting To: Ski & Snowboard School Senior Manager

Position Overview:

Powder Mountain Ski & Snowboard School is seeking guest oriented, self-motivated Indoor Operations Coordinator. This role will work closely with the Ski & Snowboard School Leadership Team, and you will have a part in influencing, guiding, and shaping the direction of the Powder Mountain School for the short and long term. Indoor Operations Coordinator will ensure smooth operation of check in and orientation of ski school guests. They will also schedule and oversee indoor team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand what guests are checking in and if they have special needs /  requests:
  • Check-In may be held outside consistently
• Convey any guest request or needs to Supervisor on Duty
• Schedule and oversee indoor team members
• Ensure all aspect of check in run smoothly and accurately
• Oversee all aspects of Ski and Snowboard School Lunch
• Assist the Guest Services Team in contacting guests by email and phone to ensure they are prepared for lesson
• Oversee inventory levels and maintenance of Ski & Snowboard School indoor supplies, such as:
  • Office Supplies
  • Drinks, Snacks & Utensils
  • Hot Chocolate Machine
• Essential Tasks
  • Check in process
  • Lunch 
  • Monitor Sick or Unwilling to Participate Students
• Assist in maintaining a safe space within the Children’s Center
  • Authorized participants and Pro’s in this space only

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

• Able to perform basic computer tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Full range of body movements
• Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
• Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
• Climb/descend stairs/ladders
• Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis
• Safely handle hazardous materials
  

Working Environment:

This position will be based indoors. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions for short periods of time.
