Industrial Cleaner (PM)

Industrial Cleaner - Evening Position - M-F 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily scheduled areas of the plant for cleaning of excess rubber dust. To include cleaning dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors, using brushes, airhoses, or steam cleaner.

• Cleans screens and filters.


• Scrub tanks and equipment.

• Picks up reusable scrap for salvage and stores in containers.


• May pick up refuse from plant grounds and maintain area


• May operate industrial truck to transport materials within plant.

• Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols


• Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness


• Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles and equipment


• Complete all required safety training including working at heights


• Complete all required training for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation


• Check forms of communication daily regarding scheduled work


• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve


• A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment


• Uphold absenteeism rate at 3.5% or below


• Must be prepared to work extra overtime hours when required


• Able to lift up to 50Lb


• Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset


• Previous forklift experience is an asset
