Industrial Cleaning Technician

Description

Monday - Friday 6:45AM - 3:30PM

• Clean hard-to-reach areas like rafters and ceilings using special tools and equipment.
• Keep production areas clean and clear of dust and debris so machines can run smoothly.
• Clean painting areas to help keep the workspace safe and efficient.
• Use a scissor lift or similar equipment to clean high-up spots safely.
• Check and take care of your cleaning tools to make sure they work well.
• Always follow safety rules and wear the required safety gear (PPE).
• Let your supervisor know if you see any leaks, damage, or other problems around the building.
• Help with painting or other upkeep tasks as needed.
• Take on other light cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Show up on time and work your scheduled shifts regularly.

Requirements

• Someone who can spot and fix problems when they come up.
• Comfortable working high up (up to 30 feet).
• Can work alone or with others and is good at communicating.
• Knows the basics of using a computer for simple reports.
  

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED. Extra training or a certificate in maintenance is a bonus.
  

Work Environment:

• You’ll work in a factory and sometimes outside in hot weather.
