The job will be located in Amasa, Michigan in Iron County in the Upper Peninsula. We are seeking as Industrial Cleaning Technician (THIRD SHIFT) to work in various areas of our Mill.

Responsibilities Include:

The Industrial Cleaning Technician will assist with the overall care of the facility in order to provide a clean, safe, hazard free environment. The Industrial Cleaning Technician will be responsible for cleaning the Mill & Parquet production areas, including: Mill Rough End, Mill Knot Saw Line, Mill BMI Line, Mill Molding area, Mill End Matching Lines, Mill Grading Lines, Mill Nesting Lines, and Mill Hog Room. The Industrial Cleaning Technician will also be responsible for the emptying of waste dumpsters from the Mill and EFP areas. 

1. Perform general clean-up (wood waste removal, sweeping, emptying of dumpsters, etc.) of Mill and EFP areas as directed. 
2. Safely clean around and inside designated machines.
3. Maintain cleanliness of critical equipment with a high potential for fire including sweeping, shoveling and use of compressed air. 
4. Empty trash receptacles in the production areas. 
5. Organize and maintain janitorial storage areas.
6. Notify Management of any unsafe conditions or concerns.
7. Attend and participate in all Company sponsored training programs as required. 
8. Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance. 

We seek the following:

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred. 
2. Some work experience desired.
