Industrial Electrician

The client is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Industrial Electrician at the Empire State Mine site in northern New York State. The candidate must be willing to relocate and work 510-hour shifts with 2 days off per week. Skills

Responsibilities

• Run cable/wire/communication
• Mount J-boxes, control boxes, switches boxes mechanical installation
• Read and follow prints
• Test/troubleshoot circuits, motors, fans, controllers, VFDs, transformers
• Complete all terminations and splicing, including high voltage splices
• Develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations and troubleshoot as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
• Strong comprehension skills for instructions and safety mandates
• Willingness to relocate to the area for a 5 on, 2 off work week

Education Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with additional certifications in electrical systems a plus.
