Job Description - Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a full-time, long-term, direct hire opportunity in Tampa, FL with a Commercial /Industrial Electrical contractor, performing Heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, Traffic Signalization projects, and much more.

Pay: $34 - $40 Hourly, Based on Experience
Travel & night work may be required.
MUST be able to work out of town and nights, on occasion

Responsibilities for Industrial Electrician

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Industrial Electrician:

3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
Proficient in Blueprint reading.
Understanding of one-line diagrams and PLCs.
Class A CDL *Preferred*
Highway Lighting experience *Preferred*
Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant experience *Preferred*
