SUMMARY
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in the warehouse or production areas. This role demands a strong technical background in electrical systems, automation, and PLC logic controls, along with a focus on safety and quality. Check switches, motors, regulators, and other parts of an industrial electrical system. Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and other types of systems. Performs advanced troubleshooting, works with general supervision, and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.
- Troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to maintain automated systems.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment.
- Detects malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
- Tests malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.
- Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.
- Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards, using electronic test equipment and hand tools.
- Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
- Follows electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
- May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Shift:
Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm

Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or electro-mechanical role within a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Must have Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems repair.
- Preferably holds a state Electrician license (not required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, calipers, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and machinery.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required.
