This is a team that comes together to learn, collaborate, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for applicants that enjoy working with and learning from their peers and are not afraid to jump in and make a difference!\n\nNote: This position can be filled with an Industrial Engineer or Principal Industrial Engineer level.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\n * Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently\n\n * Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints\n\n * Understands, maps and optimizes critical path product flow through the factory\n\n * Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints\n\n * Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools\n\n * Assist with digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies\n\n * Leads and drives positive change using iterative and agile methodologies\n\n * Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Industrial Engineer (Level 2): \n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree with 1 year of technical and/or engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master\u2019s degree with 0 years of experience\n\n * Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n\n * Ability to travel at least 10%\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Principal Industrial Engineer (Level 3): \n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree with 4 years of technical and/or engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master\u0027s degree with 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a PhD degree with 0 years of experience\n\n * Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n\n * Ability to travel at least 10%\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s of Science STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree\n\n * Active DoD Secret Clearance\n\n * Experience working with cross-functional teams in an aircraft or other manufacturing environment\n\n * High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas: VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, IF statements, pivot tables, pivot charts etc.)\n\n * High proficiency in Microsoft Project (scheduling, resource loading, capacity, optimization)\n\n * At least 2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams\n\n * Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods\n\n * Experience with agile methods of project management or development\n\n * Earned Value Management System (EVMS) \"Gold Card\" experience/training\n\n * Composite bonding knowledge or experience\n\n * Familiarization with low observable technologies and techniques\n\n * Familiarization with aircraft system testing\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
