Job Description\n\nRecognized as an expert within the company. Anticipates internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Engages with customer to identify and quantify productivity and efficiency improvement opportunities for a factory and equipment by utilizing Industrial Engineering methods, analytics, Lean Operations, Six Sigma and OR (Operation Research) models. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n * Manages and Participates in complex Industrial Engineering and Operations Research related projects to improve semiconductors productivity and efficiency.\n * Conduct a current-state assessment of business processes and identification of improvement opportunities. Based on this assessment, design, implement, and manage process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies.\n * Train, mentor, and coach Champions, in the use of Lean Operations, Six Sigma tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected client results.\n * Participate in productivity improvement studies such as cycle time reduction, Gemba and output improvement, and implementation in related to effective and efficient use of assets and production processes.\n * Use Industrial Engineering technique such as simulation, value stream analysis, business process re-engineering, Lean Operations, six sigma and Gemba to analyze and quantify and improve semiconductors fab operations.\n * Develops continual improvement roadmap and oversees the deployment of these strategies across multiple functions.\n * Used Applied Materials software (Simulation and other propriety applications) to develop models to automate the process of data analytics.\n * Develop and implement models for cost, capacity, staffing and cycle time.\n * Manage cost of ownership projects (CoO). Engage with customers to identifying and driving cost reduction, quantify the value of CIPs and improvement projects, develop a CoO pareto with Year over Year targets and roadmap.\n\n\n\nFUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE\n\n * Regarded as the technical expert in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research in the semiconductor industry\n * Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in Industrial Engineering and broad knowledge of semiconductor operations\n * Direct experience with demonstrated success and financial results leading Lean Improvements, Six Sigma transactional \u0026 manufacturing projects\u2022\n * Technical mastery of Lean Operations, Six Sigma tools and methodologies including DMAIC, DFSS, and Lean\n * Effective change agent, able to implement strategic initiatives in an organization\n * Must possess effective project management skills and ability to influence at all levels of an organization\n\n\n\nBUSINESS EXPERTISE\n\n * Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements.\n * Utilize benchmarking to identify best practices, both internal and external to the organization.\n * Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to key executives.\n * Semiconductor industry experience.\n\n\n\nLEADERSHIP\n\n * Ability to lead and influence others within a matrix organization.\n * Lead strategic projects while managing risk and resource requirements.\n * Ability to effectively coach and mentor Champions and Process Owners.\n * Resolves obstacles/roadblocks, serves as a sounding board for problem resolution.\n\n\n\nPROBLEM SOLVING\n\n * Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions\n\n\n\nEducation:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s Degree or master\u2019s degree in Industrial Engineering.\n * Green Belt, Black Belt certification preferred.\n\n\n\nYears of experience: 10+ years in semiconductor industry preferred, 5+ years leading continuous improvement program with cross functional team\n\nTravel: Yes, 20%-30% of the Time\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n10 - 15 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 25% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$154,000.00 - $212,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
