Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (OT as needed)

Purpose:
As the Industrial Janitor, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties and other miscellaneous tasks to ensure multiple buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. The Industrial Janitor will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness in office, production, and common areas to support operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Empty trash cans and replace trash liners
• Remove all trash to dumpster area
• Clean offices, lobbies, conference rooms, break rooms, and bathrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Dust desktops, tables, counters, telephones, filing cabinets, etc.
• Clean mirrors, partition glass, windows, and windowsills
• Clean hard surface floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing
• Keep restrooms clean, mop floors, and maintain supplies
• Wipe clean sinks, countertops, and toilets in restrooms
• Wipe clean microwaves, tables, chairs, etc., in breakrooms
• Vacuum all traffic areas with carpeting

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to read and/or follow simple directions
• Ability to follow simple oral and/or written instructions in English
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards
• Positive and objective attitude toward others in the workplace
• Commitment to completing tasks on time with minimal supervision
• Motivation to maintain the highest work standards as an Industrial Janitor
